Award applications now available!

We are currently accepting applications for our 2015 awards.

The "Live Your Dream" award is for women who provide the primary financial support for themselves and their dependents, have a financial need, are enrolled in or have been accepted to a vocational or undergraduate degree program, and are motivated to achieve their education and career goals. First place winner will receive $3,000.  Second place winnner will receive $2,000. Applications must be submitted by November 15, 2014.

The Violet Richardson Award recognizes women who provide exemplary volunteer work in their communities, schools or churches. Recipients will receive $250, plus $250 will be donated to a charity of their choice. Deadline for applications is December 1, 2014.

The Helen Cox award is a $2,000 scholarship paid to the college. Applicants for this award should be a junior or senior woman college student pursuing a degree in business or accounting.  Deadline for applications is January 15, 2015.

The Professional-Technical Award is for women enrolled in a program leading to a certificate or technical degree.  First place is $2,000 and second place is $1,000.  Deadline for applications is January 15, 2015.

This week SI of Pasco-Kennewick and SI of Three Rivers are hosting Human Trafficking Training that is specifically designed to train first-responders and medical professionals to recognize the signs of a trafficked victim.
