Award applications now available!
We are currently accepting applications for our 2015 awards.
The "Live Your Dream" award is for women who provide the primary financial support for themselves and their dependents, have a financial need, are enrolled in or have been accepted to a vocational or undergraduate degree program, and are motivated to achieve their education and career goals. First place winner will receive $3,000. Second place winnner will receive $2,000. Applications must be submitted by November 15, 2014.
The Violet Richardson Award recognizes women who provide exemplary volunteer work in their communities, schools or churches. Recipients will receive $250, plus $250 will be donated to a charity of their choice. Deadline for applications is December 1, 2014.
The Helen Cox award is a $2,000 scholarship paid to the college. Applicants for this award should be a junior or senior woman college student pursuing a degree in business or accounting. Deadline for applications is January 15, 2015.
The Professional-Technical Award is for women enrolled in a program leading to a certificate or technical degree. First place is $2,000 and second place is $1,000. Deadline for applications is January 15, 2015.

Mother’s Day Brunch – May 10, 2014
Treat your Mom, Grandma, Daughter, Wife, Sister… (or all the
important women in your life) to brunch this Mother’s Day weekend!!
Join us Saturday, May 10, 2014, from 10:30am – 1:00pm at
Meadow Springs Country Club for this fun event including great food, fashion,
portraits, gifts, prizes and an overall fun time!!! The theme for this event is
“Petit Fours and Pearls” so come dressed accordingly—in your fun spring attire
(no jeans please).
We held our inaugural event last year and are looking forward
to a bigger, better and more fun-filled time for 2014!! Best of all: proceeds
go to support programs, education and services for women and girls in our
community.

ROLL INTO SPRING BUNCO!!!
It's not looking much like spring these days... but really it's just around the corner! Come out and enjoy a night of fun as we "Roll Into Spring" with Bunco at Clover Island Inn on March 18!!!
Social time will start at 5:30pm, and we promise to get the dice rolling by 6pm. A silent auction of spring themed items will also be available, while we learn about programs and initiatives of Soroptimist.
Definitely looking forward to another fun night, with proceeds going to support scholarships, and programs for women and girls in our community.
